Where VoxMark keeps things
In your scene
Section titled “In your scene”The transcript, the voices, the markers stored by Save & Clear, any markers
parked by solo, and the Aa / 1-frame state are all saved inside the .c4d. They
travel with the file: send the scene to someone with VoxMark and they open it with the same
transcript in the Navigate tab. Save the scene to keep them — as with any other change.
VoxMark also remembers the last audio file and SRT you brought in for that scene.
Beside your scene: replaced transcripts
Section titled “Beside your scene: replaced transcripts”Nothing is simply lost. Before a transcription, an SRT import or a rebuild replaces a
transcript, VoxMark writes the old one to a Chroma/VoxMark/replaced/ folder beside your
.c4d, named after the scene with a date and time. The newest 20 are kept.
For a scene that hasn’t been saved yet, the folder is in Cinema 4D’s preferences folder instead. The log says where each one went.
The files are JSON — the captions, their times and voices — readable in any text editor if you need to recover a line.
The VoxMark Audio null
Section titled “The VoxMark Audio null”Audio you bring in is attached to a null called VoxMark Audio at the top of the Object Manager, as a Sound track. It links to your audio file rather than copying it, so keep the file where it is (or relink the Sound track if you move it). Delete the null if you don’t want the audio in the scene.
In Cinema 4D’s preferences
Section titled “In Cinema 4D’s preferences”- Your API keys, in the Chroma preferences — see Providers & API keys.
- Your panel settings: the provider, model, language, detail, max chars, the checkboxes, whether the Log and Timing tools are open, Maximise, and Frame the timeline on jump.
Scenes made with older versions
Section titled “Scenes made with older versions”Open a scene made before VoxMark saved transcripts and VoxMark builds a transcript from its markers, once, and tells you how many it moved across. Nothing else changes.
